We are kicking off this year’s creative workshops with a brand new event - explore spring’s awakening with an introduction to Nature Journalling, guided by Sculpture Garden veteran Ellie Green of Surrey Art School.

This unique masterclass allows you access to one of our true local talents. Jane will introduce you to some of her work and her working methods using the wet-on-wet watercolour technique.

You will receive practical guidance on how to wet your paper, add colour, subtract certain areas - working with artist quality pigments and watching them spread loosely across the page.

Join us for a voyage of discovery with our fabulous 3D specialist where you will learn the art of botanical casting, working with clay and plaster to create incredibly detailed relief casts to take home!

Expect a fun, messy and wildly creative workshop that will give you lots of ideas and plenty of advice to continue your casting practice beyond the classroom.

Brush lettering is a really useful skill for budding artists and can be used to embellish sketchbook pages for GCSE and A level or just as a way to switch off and tune in to something that doesn't involve a screen - so this summer we are offering an extra special teen brush workshop to get our young artists writing beautifully!
