Join Ellie’s monthly women’s circle at the Surrey Art School studio. Attuned to the energies of the Full and New Moon we use a blend of creative and spiritual tools to tune into the subconscious, share our journey with supportive sisters, find our feet and illuminate our next steps.

The Coven includes: Oracle cards, Meditation, Guided Journaling Exercises, a Sharing Circle, Wild Tea & Cake and creative activities. We work closely with the rhythms and cycles of Nature, guided by a monthly theme that echoes the energy of the natural world around us.

We are kicking off this year’s creative workshops with a brand new event - celebrating Spring’s awakening with an introduction to Nature Journalling, guided by Surrey Art School founder Ellie Green.

Ellie and Sculpture Garden Curator Vikki will guide you (weather permitting) through the Sculpture Garden on a gentle walk, where we'll tune into our surroundings using mindful observation techniques. We'll be looking for 'signs of spring' in the gardens and exploring simple recording techniques to gather visual information for our Nature Journals, before returning to the gallery-come-studio to capture nature as she awakes from her winter slumber…

Step into a sacred 2.5-hour ritual to reconnect with your inner witch through prayer, ritual, and ancestral wisdom. Gather in circle as our ancestors once did, sharing from the heart in a space of deep connection and release.

What to expect: Individual Healing – Receive a personal cleansing with feathers, rattles, smoke, gentle touch, and sacred oils. Journaling & Card Pulling – Reflect on your journey with tarot and oracle cards to gain insight. Song & Fire Ritual – Close the evening with song and sacred fire, releasing what no longer serves you. Herbal teas - will be provided reflect the energy of the evening.

This is a space of deep feminine wisdom, a chance to commune with the spirits, the elements, and our ancestors. Together, we will cleanse, release, and renew.
