And so today we offer you a rare and so precious sneak peek INSIDE the sketchbooks of some of the students who joined us this season online, for our summer project: METAMORPHOSIS 🌱

What an epic time to sink into this theme. We kicked off the project in early May, just as the lockdown restrictions began to ease a little and used as our sketchbooks as a chance to reflect on the continual changes around us on the inside.

The theme allowed us to observe the natural world - a place where change seemed almost effortless. As they say, a flower never asks when it’s time to bloom.

We encouraged our students to use their daily exercise to take some mindful photos and to look to their gardens and closer surroundings to note the tiny changes around them.

Here are a few highlights and milestones from our summer term online - so kindly shared by our students so you can get a SNEAK PEAK inside their sketchbooks - oh my how we’ve all grown despite the restrictions in the wider world!

And so as our summer term comes to a close, our students are just beginning to bring some of the ideas they explored over the summer season, to some sort of a conclusion. Here are a few of the final pieces they’ve developed in the past weeks - which really speak for themselves in terms of the love and care that has gone in there! We’ll keep adding to this as our students send them through!
