Start your weaving journey with the wonderful Susannah Bolton this season where she will be teaching you all you need to know to get to know your loom.
You'll be working with stunning hand-made notched lap looms and will learn all about the anatomy of the loom before planning a small tapestry and starting to weave.
Susannah will be providing an extensive range of yarns including some beautiful and rare vintage tweed wools and silks!
You'll have the option to work from a planned image or if you're feeling a little more adventurous - to free weave and just see where the patterns, colours and yarns take you.
At the end of the session you'll be taught how to remove your finished piece from the loom - securing and tying off your finished tapestry and will have the option to buy a loom (rrp £60) if you would like to continue your practice at home.
How to book: Book online to secure your space. Full booking terms and conditions are here. Prior booking essential.
