In this first, Spring inspired workshop we'll delve into the textures and colours of the garden in bloom. Beginning with some loosening up exercises 'taking a line for a walk' -  we'll learn how to sketch in pencil and then refine our drawings with a fine-liner - adding dotting, mark-making and strengthening our outlines to bring our sketches to life.  At the end of the workshop we'll add vibrancy and movement to our drawings, adding a splash of artist quality watercolours to our designs. 

The afternoon will be broken into two workshops, with a break for tea, locally roasted coffee and scrumptious homemade cakes midway through (vegan option available).

Guests are welcome to stay until 6pm to explore the Sculpture Garden further - perhaps employing some of the lessons gleaned earlier in the day, or just taking time to relax and unwind in the serene setting.
