Beginner’s Sketchbook Club 9:30am - 10:45am @ Surrey Art School

Break up the week with our Sketchbook art class, suitable for absolute beginners to any level. A chance to meet and make regularly and get back into your creative flow. Make art, drink tea,  talk art, talk life, meet others and make in our cosy studio. Each week we will work on a different aspect of art practice and fill our sketchbooks with creative experiments.

You will be given a sketchbook with your first class and our skills based sessions will improve your technical skill and inspire new ways of working that harness confidence and creativity.

No pressure, lots of laughter and plenty of time to reflect on the week.

Meet and Make 7:30pm - 9:00pm @ Surrey Art School

Working on a current project but need the time and space to create? Our meet and make sessions run on the first Tuesday of every month and are a chance to connect with a group of makers in a relaxed setting to work through your weaving or knitting.

Susannah, our textiles tutor and experienced weaver will be on hand to offer creative guidance and technical support, plus you’ll have a group of fellow textile lovers to chat and share ideas with.

Expect a relaxed and informal session with materials available on request (£10 surcharge) or simply bring along your own project and yarns to work alongside others. Plenty of tea and biscuits will be available throughout the session.
