Linoleum is one of the most versatile materials for creating a long-lasting print block.

During this workshop you'll explore the range of options available for designing and carving a print block - exploring not only carving techniques, but how to get the most out of both the positive and negative space in your design. 

Ellie will also offer guidance on the types of ink available to you (we only work with non-toxic vegetable oil based inks - professional quality with beautiful vibrant pigments) and how to work safely with them. We will explore both hand-printing methods and press-based practice through the workshop.

Throw away you cutting tools!

This fab day course teaches you how to create beautiful, almost painterly marks on lino, smooth indents or rugged textures with a lot less elbow grease than traditional cutting tools and a range of NEW opportunities to experiment with the surface of a lino block.
