Surrey Art School founder Ellie will guide you through an introduction to Nature Journaling, whilst taking you on a gentle walk, stopping to observe the surrounding nature as the season unfolds.

Nature Journaling is growing in popularity – it’s about connecting to your surroundings through a creative lens and using simple questions to enquire into and learn about your natural surroundings. With a drawing board, a range of paper and some samples of beautiful artist-quality watercolour paints, you’ll learn the names of flowers and plants, the song of different birds and some beginner-friendly sketching and painting techniques to capture the essence of a natural space.

Following the Art workshop, we’ll sit down at our shared dining table beneath the trees for a 2-course wildly and seasonally inspired picnic lunch.
