Join experienced Artist-teacher Ellie Green, for a one-day course exploring the magic of the mushrooms that can be found in the Surrey Hills.

Join us this summer for a chance to paint dragonflies and demoiselles dancing over the water using beginner-kind watercolour techniques and some beautiful, iridescent paints that will make your paintings sparkle in the sun. A slow and soothing summer-inspired workshop that includes delicious food and bottomless cups of coffee and tea for you to sip and nibble on whilst time ebbs away.

All materials, freshly brewed tea and coffee and a wildly inspired picnic lunch are included in this seasonal workshop.

Nature Journaling is growing in popularity – it’s about connecting to your surroundings through a creative lens and using simple questions to enquire into and learn about your natural surroundings. With a drawing board, a range of paper and some samples of beautiful artist-quality watercolour paints, you’ll learn the names of flowers and plants, the song of different birds and some beginner-friendly sketching and painting techniques to capture the essence of a natural space.

We’re delighted to have been invited back to Painshill Park this summer for a soothing Wildflower Watercolour Painting Workshop inspired by the gardens at this stunning park in Cobham. Your ticket includes entry to Painshill Park & you are free to roam the park after the workshop.

We’ll take a mindful walk up to the woods, taking in the sights and scents of the summer season. Once in the woods, Surrey Art School founder Ellie Green will guide you through how to capture Summer Wildflowers using soothing watercolour techniques.
